“Digital storytelling using mobile devices”
Chris is a consultant trainer for Jisc Netskills. When he joined Netskills in 2010 he brought an enthusiasm for storytelling using digital media that was sparked by his work with schools and community groups in Sheffield.
For the past 3 years he and colleagues at Netskills have been investigating the use of storytelling within FE and HE as a tool for reflective learning, public engagement and project communications.
He has developed his approach in the use of mobile devices to capture stories for events run by the Field Studies Council and Enhancing Fieldwork Learning, an HEA-funded project. Chris has also recently completed an MSc dissertation on the use of digital storytelling within organisations.
