Leading organisations from across the further and higher education sector joined forces to create the Sustainability Exchange, the UK’s first centralised information portal and online community for the sector, sharing a wealth of information, experience and resources that are available to everyone. At your fingertips you now have free access to the combined knowledge, guidance and support of all tertiary education. Comprising best practice guides, tool-kits, events, news, reports, research, webinars, videos, communities and forums – all focused on the powerful and challenging topic of sustainability.
The Sustainability Exchange, as with the EAUC website, contains a vast amount of information that is freely available for all – this is in line with the core founding principles. Registration is free and very simple (EAUC Members do not need to register, just log in using your email and EAUC password). The Sustainability Exchange is delivered by the EAUC, led by Staffordshire University and funded by HEFCE through its Leadership, Governance and Management Fund. However, it is the partners who are freely sharing resources and supporting the Sustainability Exchange that make it all possible, including BIFM, BRE Group, The Carbon Trust, NUS, WRAP and many more.
Since the Sustainability Exchange has launched, it has developed a new series of events called ‘exchanges’. As the portal has been created to share insight across the sector, ‘exchanges’ use the medium of webinars to achieve this. They are short, free, lunchtime webinars which encourage dialogue and sharing of ideas and approaches. There has already been a number of successful exchanges and an upcoming series on the vast topic of ‘Behaviour Change and Positive Attitudes’ is now on offer. These occur throughout February, March & April. Book your place online NOW
