Innovation in Studio Schools: Rethinking 14-19 Education
John Lean is a Development Officer from the Studio Schools Trust, and has worked for two years helping to establish Studio Schools across the country. Having previously worked in Widening Participation at the University of Manchester and taught A-level Humanities in Salford, he also produces teaching and project resources, and leads on the development of the unique CREATE skills framework which provides a basis for learning in all Studio Schools.
The Studio Schools Trust works to develop and promote Studio Schools. These innovative schools have a strong emphasis on practical work, academic achievement and employability skills.
