“Data Protection – Myths and Musts, in Education”
Rick is the head of operations for the CTI Group (CTIG). CTIG are a global telecoms software company who provide analytics to the industry, aimed at corporate customers. CTIG provide both hosted (SaaS & private cloud) and client hosted solutions, directly to the telecommunications industry. CTIG products are used in many of the Tier1 Telcos in Europe, North and South America; and other CTIG products are used in financial markets globally.
As head of operations, he is responsible for the hosting and operating of solutions to the Tier 1 Telco & Financial markets, in both SaaS and customer hosted variants.
Rick has been involved in the group wide implementation of the current CRM system, amalgamating 3 other CRMs into a single system, which has now been in operation for 5 years, group wide.
He has also been involved in IT Service Delivery for over 20 years, in various roles across Telecommunications, Software Houses, Logistics and Education. He has an undergraduate degree in Electronic Engineering, and is a member of the BCS Information Security Specialist Group, as well as a trained ISO27001 Lead Implementer.
