Computing at Schools have announced that they will be bringing a number of computing experts to staff their “CAS Clinic” at the Education Innovation event on the 27/28 February.
The clinic will be the perfect place to have all of your questions answered about the introduction or development of teaching computing in schools. The clinic will offer advice to school leaders and teachers about topics such as change management and CPD training for computing in primary and secondary school settings.
CAS said of the clinic:
“Are you confused about the new curriculum for Computing?
Do you wish there was a teacher you could go to and ask for advice?
Have you never taught Computing before and do not know where to start?
Would you like advice on suitable resources for your class?Come to the Computing At School Clinic at stand F12 for help!
Each day the stand will be staffed by several experienced teachers who have been there before and are successfully teaching Computing to their classes already. Do come and see us and ask them anything you like! There will be teachers from both primary and secondary schools ready and willing to help you. “
More information will follow about specific workshop timings, but this will be a fantastic place to learn more about computing for your school.
