Register for EICE 2014 and you will be entered into a prize draw to win a class tour of the new National Football Museum.
In July 2012 the National Football Museum opened in Manchester city centre in the iconic Urbis building. The museum has five floors which include over 2000 objects, an immersive cinema and lots of interactive areas. Football Plus experiences allow visitors to take penalties in front of the real Wembley goalposts or commentate on Match of the Day with Gary Lineker!
In 2013 the museum launched an exciting and engaging learning programme for schools and community groups. Groups can be inspired by the galleries and discover all about ‘the beautiful game’.
The fantastic learning programme uses unique objects and amazing stories to enthuse and engage both football and non-football fans. Sessions use the hook of football to bring cross curricular learning to life.
Learning sessions at the museum can be booked for Early Years up to Higher Education groups and cover a wide range of subjects including numeracy, literacy, history, design and citizenship.
Details of all the sessions on offer can be found at;

The National Football Museum is supporting the Education Innovation Conference & Exhibition. Register free for the show and you will be entered into a free draw to win a class tour (of any age) of the museum.
