“Digital Literacy…The time is right”
Richard has worked with organisations delivery vocational and welfare to work programmes across the UK, he has also worked with government departments that have a role in delivering digital literacy to enable learners to gain employment.
Richard has vast experience in the education sector covering schools, colleges and higher education and has delivered many complex ‘vocational’ solutions. Richard leads the newly developed BCS Digital Literacy for Life Programme which focuses on delivering digital literacy in the UK by influencing government, employers and educators.
The programme launched with its inaugural meeting in May and has attracted interest from major organisations and powerful individuals that have a role to play in ensuring that as much of the UK has access to and the skills for actively participating in our digital world.
